Dato’ Andrew Goh Boon Kim is a distinguished Malaysian corporate leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate whose career spans business leadership, industry development, education, civil defence, and humanitarian service.

Over the years, he has built a strong reputation as a visionary leader committed to sustainable growth, social responsibility, and nation-building.

Business Leadership & Industry Contribution

In the business arena, Dato’ Andrew has established himself as an accomplished businessman with extensive experience across corporate management, strategic partnerships, business development, and international engagement.

His professional journey reflects a deep understanding of market dynamics, organisational leadership, and stakeholder collaboration. He has played an instrumental role in fostering business networks, facilitating trade opportunities, and promoting industry advancement both locally and internationally.

He continues to serve Malaysia’s business ecosystem in key leadership capacities as Deputy Secretary General of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Malaysia (NCCIM), Deputy President of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM), and Advisor to SME Selangor, the Malaysia Pallet Association, and the Telok Gong Factory Association.

Through these roles, he contributes significantly to strengthening collaborations between the private sector, academia, and government institutions, advocating initiatives that enhance talent development, innovation, digital transformation, and economic resilience.

His engagement in international conferences and trade missions has also helped position Malaysia as a credible and competitive business partner on the global stage.

Public Service: Civil Defence Malaysia (APM)

Dato’ Andrew’s commitment to nation-building extends to civil defence. He serves in Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia (APM) as an Associate Officer and currently holds the rank of Penolong Persuruhjaya.

In this capacity, he supports community preparedness, emergency response, and public safety initiatives.

Rotary Journey: 1998 to District Governor 2028/29

Beyond commercial and public service, Dato’ Andrew believes leadership carries a responsibility to uplift communities. This philosophy has defined his Rotary journey, which began in 1998 when he joined the Rotary Club of Port Klang.

Over 27 years, he has lived the Rotary ideal of “Service Above Self” through sustained service and leadership. His path has taken him from club-level service to district leadership, driving initiatives in education, healthcare, youth development, welfare, and humanitarian assistance.

He is respected for inspiring collaboration, mentoring emerging leaders, and delivering impactful projects locally and internationally.

In recognition of his long-standing commitment and leadership, Dato’ Andrew was elected as District Governor for Rotary Year 2028/29. He will lead Rotarians across the district to expand service reach, build stronger clubs, and deepen community impact.
